Ice and Snow

The hands of time are frozen here,
Death is one thing they don't fear,
They gave up their time for one another,
Time is now what keeps them from each other.

They long for the company they can't have,
Eternal life together is what they crave,
Stuck in a tale of pain and sorrow,
If only they could move forward to tomorrow.

Frozen in a land with snow that falls,
It's not cold in this dream world's walls,
The pure white snow collides with the ground,
Covering up the pain in a sea of blue all around.

Now realizing a mistake that was made,
The price of their life and time has been paid,
They shouldn't have given up their time,
Dying instead of living was love's true crime.

Now stuck in this frozen place,
With only memories of each others face,
Cursed to lives that could have been saved,
If only they didn't die for the love they craved.
